CSM has experienced NICET engineering inspectors proficient in a wide range of project types, including, water/wastewater, transportation, and more. Due to the unique requirements of each project, CSM closely works with clients and project owners to identify and deploy the most suitable staff, and emphasizes partnering and the maintenance of communication between our staff and other project team members.
Transportation Engineering
Report
CSM projects range from county, city, and village roadways and streets, to state/interstate highways/expressways, parkways, and bridges. As a subconsultant to GPI, CSM performed construction engineering inspection services on this $165 million project. As a subconsultant to LKB, Inc., CSM provided resident engineering inspection services and a community liaison person for community participation on this project.
Wastewater Engineering

CSM provides engineering inspection services for water/wastewater facilities, from planning and feasibility studies, through design and construction management/inspection. Representative Water/Wastewater projects include the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (NYCDEP), Newtown Creek Manhattan Pumping Station, Amityville Waterfront Resiliency Improvements, Rockaway and Coney Island Treatment Plants, and Bay Park and Cedar Creek Wastewater Treatment Plants.As a subconsultant to the URS (acquired by AECOM)/Arcadis team, CSM Engineering provided services at the plant for 16 years, beginning in 2003.
