Pioneer Engineering is a professional association (P.A.) comprised of civil engineers, land surveyors, land planners, and landscape architects along with support staff in every department.

Pioneer Engineering has been designing residential and commercial subdivisions for local and national builders and developers using a variety of development techniques while always staying current with the most up-to-date technologies and best management practices in the industry.We have an experienced staff that has developed strong relationships with developers, builders, and regulatory agencies throughout the greater Twin Cities area.

Our engineering department utilizes up-to-date software including Autodesk Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and XPSWMM to design your complete construction plans.

Land Planning

Pioneer Engineering's Land Planning Department staff includes AICP planners, licensed landscape architects and graphic specialists. We begin every project by conducting due diligence. Before engineering and land planning, we will find all the information on a piece of property that is available. This information typically includes zoning and subdivision ordinances, comprehensive plans, city policy documents, LiDAR topography, county section or plat information, along with any special environmental data such as FEMA flood plain and wetland information.

Pioneer Engineering's Land Surveying Department staff includes professional Minnesota land surveyors, land-surveyors-in-training, CADD technicians and field technicians. Our survey department uses state of the art software, including Autodesk Civil3d and Trimble Business Center, as well as the latest technology for land surveying of St. Paul and surrounding areas.

Landscape Architecture

Pioneer Engineering's landscape architects in Minneapolis provide complete design services that include concept plans, construction documents, landscape bid facilitation, and landscape installation management.
