Our expertise spans concrete tilt-up panels, masonry units, poured-in-place concrete, structural steel, cold-formed steel, and timber framing. We also design foundations, retaining walls, and provide structural evaluations for signs, awnings, and poles.

We provide comprehensive land surveying services for private property owners, developers, attorneys, and public agencies. Our offerings include boundary and property surveys, topographic and location surveys, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, and construction staking. We also prepare FEMA LOMA and LOMR applications and offer forensic surveying with expert witness support.

We assist property owners, developers, and public agencies with land use planning and permitting services across Oregon. Our work includes property line adjustments, subdivisions, zone changes, annexations, and conditional use permits. We also handle ODOT approach permit applications, county facility permits, and adjustment reviews for planned unit developments.

Had been recommended a particular engineer from SSW for our major landscaping project to do the designs for. Michael Cox, initially came and gave a good amount of information, and seemed to know precisely what to do. This gave us confidence to go ahead and use him as our engineer. He had a few plans supposedly that was ahead of are but gave a generalized timeline for when he expected to be done. His initial communication was mediocre at best but he let us know when he was expecting to work on the plans.

But when his time frame came and went, it took several emails spread out through a couple of weeks before he responded again, with another timeframe. Which once again came and went with no response as to why the delays. When we tried to get in contact with him again, we even brought up our concerns with the significant delays in communication, which he did acknowledge but after that email, we never got anything else. Weeks went by, again no updates, no idea of why our project designs werent being done.

We started emailing weekly, calling and leaving voicemails, but nothing. Even had our landscaping company try to reach out, because our project was dependent on his plans and design. This has been an utter nightmare and unfortunately has reflected horrifically on this company. This has put us in a difficult position, for our project has now been delayed to a point that puts in the rain season with no retaining wall to protect our house from mudslides.

We gave him ample time and multiple opportunities to keep us as clients, but has burned that bridge permanently and we will not be using him or the company that would stand for this type of extremely poor communication.

Very helpful! I called about getting a boundary survey done on a new property. Turns out they had done one for the previous owner 3 years earlier. They emailed me the survey map and I was able to easily find the markers they had set previously.

Amazing! These guys are TOP NOTCH. Very professional, knowledgeable, and they do what they say they're going to do when they say they're going to do it. They're super busy just like everyone else in the industry, but they got me scheduled within a few weeks (vs a few months like the local firms here had quoted). They came out to Florence and did two properties on the same day to help with time and money.

The guys who did the work here could not have been nicer, they were more than willing to walk me through both properties. I'll for sure be using them again in the future. I couldn't recommend them more and I hope they thrive! We need more quality businesses like SSW around here.
