Accurate surveying and mapping is the result of our experienced personnel giving our clients the best possible service with the best equipment available. Land/Boundry Surveys
Report
A land surveyor researches your property and its adjoining tracts before physically locating any improvements or boundary markers. Then any discrepancies that were identified by personal accounts, legal descriptions, plats, and maps will be noted for our survey crew in the field when measurements are taken and data is gathered.
Mapping
Report
Good mapping is essential for every project. We have in house mapping sources of Montague and the surrounding counties that dates from back to the 1950's up to current times with digital aerial photos and USGS Quad sheets. We also keep current vector files of the appraisal district tax maps for many counties in north Texas. We have Heydricks Maps, Tobin Maps and GLO maps as well as numerous City maps and Alcorn plats.
Construction Management
Report
The construction process is the most important and comprehensive during a project. Swaim Engineering and Surveying can work with our clients to maintain budget integrity, bid the project, provide limited inspection and final approval.

I hired them to do a couple surveys as they stated they could have it done faster than the other survey place, well stating and doing are two different things! They did not communicate at all! when I called I kept getting "your next", "your on the board", "we will let you know". I had a property buyer back out while waiting. When they came out to do the survey I wasn't even consulted as to where the boundary was being placed.

When I called I was told that would all be changed later. Why not do it right the first time? Then to top it off the bill was way more that quoted and I guess they just count on the fact your stuck paying it. Do yourself a favor and use someone else!

Critical: Quality Quoted $600 and charged us $1200. To top of off when we finally received our survey the legal description had the wrong county road recorded!
