SJB Services, Inc. was established in 1992 to provide contract drilling (geotechnical and environmental) and construction testing services to clients throughout New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Northeast. As a result of this acquisition, Empire Geo Services, Inc. was formed as the New York State Registered Professional Engineering subsidiary of SJB Services, Inc. and the successor to Maxim Technologies.

SJB / Empire Geo Services offers drilling services for all phases of environmental and geotechnical site investigations. We maintain an extensive inventory of field equipment and instrumentation including truck-mounted and all-terrain drilling rigs. We have experience in well installation and geotechnical drilling for a variety of different types of projects including EPA Superfund sites, waste management facilities, site remediation projects and traditional geotechnical projects.Our experience, staff, and equipment provide us the means to meet the most stringent project requirements.

These projects have varied in size and scope, including residential developments, commercial and industrial buildings, bridges, retaining walls, dams, solid waste facilities, port and harbor facilities, transmission towers, highways and airport pavements, as well as other civil engineering works.
