Services
About Us
Report
Founded in 1988, Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is a leader in geotechnical, construction materials, environmental and facilities engineering. At that time, our goal was to raise the standards of professional consulting engineering by hiring industry professionals who understood the complexities of building and maintaining modern infrastructures.
Lessons Learned
Report
After more than 30 years in the industry, we've amassed some great takeaways pertaining to the work we do. We felt this key information was important to share, so in 1996, Lessons Learned was created as a mailed piece sent out to our peers. In the concrete business, "hot weather" creates situations that require special procedures for proper concrete mixing, placing, finishing, protection, and curing. The most pronounced effects of hot weather on concrete are an increased rate of setting and rapid water loss.
Training
Report
ECS is pleased to introduce our Environmental Health and Safety Training Programs. We are an EPA Accredited Training Provider of asbestos, lead based paint, mold and other safety and compliance training courses. Tailored courses and schedules to fit your employees' needs are available. Our instructors will come to you, or we can host your staff at one of our many convenient training centers. All courses are approved by the appropriate state and federal regulatory agencies. Select courses are currently offered in English or Spanish.
Safety
Report
ECS has integrated safety into our culture by developing it as a value, not just a priority. While priorities may change, values do not. Our STAR program is a behavior-based process in which employees observe coworkers regularly to reinforce good safety practices, as well as identify and correct unsafe practices that might lead to injury.
