Doug Veerkamp is a fifth-generation descendant of a pioneer family in El Dorado County. In the past 38 years, DVGE has grown from a small operation to one of the largest employers in El Dorado County. DVGE is currently considered a mid-size contractor in terms of annual sales volume and payroll. DVGE specializes in excavation, grading, wet and dry utilities, rockery walls, paving and trucking.

We help establish new communities and offer chip sealing and seal coating to help maintain existing communities. We specialize in repairing residential driveway sections as well paving, crack seal and seal coating.

DVGE has the largest truck fleet in El Dorado County servicing homeowners as well as public and private construction projects. DVGE provides Transfers, Ten Wheel Dumps, Super Dumps, and Semi End Dump Trucks able to haul any of your material needs. We also have a large fleet of Six Wheel and Ten Wheel Water Trucks for construction dust control, and for filling swimming pools. Our Lowbed service is available to haul everything from dozers to excavators to pavers and grinders and everything in between.
