James is a licensed Structural Engineer having passed the California structural engineering exam. He is licensed in more than 15 states and has provided engineering services in more than 10 countries. James is a Past President of the Structural Engineers Association of Utah (SEAU) and has also served on the Construction Advisory Board for the LDS Church.

We are always looking for creative, hardworking, and self motivated people to work for us. We prefer engineers who have had some drafting or CAD experience, (but it is not a requirement). We want people who have common sense and are willing to think. The office of JMWA is located in SLC, Utah. Although our office is located in Utah, we provide structural engineering and design services throughout the United States, as well as internationally.
