Brio Engineering has provided all site Civil Engineering services for the redevelopment of Lazear Charter Academy. The campus consisted modernization of 23 existing classrooms, construction of 2 new classrooms, restrooms, administrative offices and workspace, and a multi-purpose building, which all met ADA requirements.

When Washington Hospital opened in 1958, it served a community of 18,000 people; today it serves more than 350,000 residents and is expected to grow over the next several years. Upgrades were needed not only to ensure the hospital is able to continue to provide care in the event of a disaster, such as an earthquake, but also as a result of the growing population throughout the District.

Brio Engineering has provided consulting engineering services for the redevelopment of NewPark Mall. The staff developed the site work design packages for the 12-screen AMC Theater featuring both IMAX and AMC Prime auditoriums, John's Incredible Pizza, and two-level restaurant outdoor plaza, while reconfiguring the surrounding parking fields to meet the parking ratio requirements for the City of Newark.
