Mr. Mukherjee has over 23 years experience as an Electrical Engineer. His experience involves Lighting and Power distribution projects for CTA, O’Hare Airport, IDOT, ISTHA, and CDOT. Reviewed and commented on Electrical Plans for the following projects with respect to ComEd Duct Bank Profile Sectionalizer/Transformer Pads and ComEd Manhole Standard Details to ensure compliance with ComEd Standards. Also reviewed and commented on 14L Glide Slope Shelter Electrical Plan, 14L Glide Slope Single Line Diagram for 25KW, 240/120V Stand-By Engine Generator, 200A 3 Pole Automatic Transfer Switch and Shelter Panelboard wiring diagram. Prepared review comments on 32R Localizer Shelter Plan with references to Coax Cables, control cables and power cables for Localizer Antennae. The projects were as follows: Attended deign coordination meetings with ComEd and Construction Managers to resolve field issues and provide solutions as required. Kam Engineering Co. 2002-2006

ISTHA Tri State Toll way M.P.00 to M.P.17.7. Chicago, Illinois. Lighting Design Engineer responsible for photometric calculations, lighting layout for underpass lighting and gore areas for the project using Microsite Lite software to ensure ISTHA illumination requirements were met.

IDOT Dan Ryan Expressway, Chicago, Illinois. Lighting Design Engineer: 31st to 41st expressway. Did all field checks to locate all lighting controllers serving all ramp lighting, expressway median lighting and underpass lighting. Mr. Mukherjee indicated circuit identification for each luminaire within the project limits and marked plans to indicate the same.

CDOT Nagle Ave over I-90: Chicago, Illinois.
As a sub consultant to Collins Engineers, Inc Subrata was responsible for the Approach Roadway/Bridge lighting on Nagle Ave between Gregory Ave and Bryn Mawr Ave and underpass lighting on I-90 under Nagle Avenue. Work included a final PS&E (Plans Specifications and Cost Estimate).

CDOT Lower Wacker Drive Reconstruction Project, Chicago,
Lighting Design Engineer and responsible for developing a set of electrical plans and 911 call box layout/ conduit plan. He calculated Voltage drops calculations for individual lighting circuits for tunnel lighting and associated conduit and junction box sizing. He is responsible for electrical plans for complete lighting layout for Upper and Lower Wacker Drive and completed special photometric calculations to ensure that the tunnel lighting layout conformed to RP-22 for day and night conditions for the NB Tunnel between Monroe and Madison. Mr. Mukherjee prepared electrical load calculations for Com Ed to ensure sufficient primary capacity to handle all power requirements for lighting; traffic signaling, fire alarm systems-911 and Bascule Bridge lift bridge motor loads. Mr. Mukherjee sized rectifier banks, transformers and switchgears to provide complete package electrical system. He coordinated all work with city of Chicago Structural/Bureau of Electricity to ensure all local standards were met and electrical layout was coordinated with landscaping consultant to ensure lighting pole location did not conflict with planter locations.

IDOT IL-53 at I-55, Chicago, (IDOT Project)
As a Lighting Design Engineer completed lighting layout, wiring diagram underpass lighting layout, details, sign electric connection wiring diagram and voltage drop calculations and photometric. Mr. Mukherjee completed lighting design for Partial Interchange Lighting at IL-53, Underpass Lighting at IL-53 under I-55, Overhead Sign Lighting, and Major Urban Arterial Lighting on IL-53.

City of Chicago Lighting Project, Chicago, Illinois.
As a Lighting Design Engineer was responsible for the Lighting on S. Racine Avenue from W. 39th to W. 35th and on W. 37th street between Racine and Morgan. He performed photometric calculations, voltage drop calculations, circuit orientation and circuit wiring diagrams. His work included a final PS&E.(Plans Specifications and Cost Estimate)

Delta Engineers 2001-2002

CTA Ravenswood (Brown) Line: (Chicago).
As a Design Electrical Engineer for expansion of Addison station, Irving Park, Montrose station, Damen station and Kedzie he performed calculations for the entire electric load for lighting, power, heating, elevators, communication panel and concessions panel. He completed single line diagram with provision for Automatic Transfer Switch, Generators, UPS, and Reliable Service Distribution panel for lighting, power and communication needs. Also sized all panels Automatic Transfer switch etc and finalized electrical equipment layout in the assigned space allocated in the Electrical Rooms for each Station.

UBM Engineering 2000-2001

Terminal 6 Apron/Taxiway Improvements: (Chicago).
As a Project Electrical Engineer for aviation improvement project at O’Hare Airport. Reviewed specifications related to airfield lighting circuits powered by a constant current regulator operating at a nominal 5000 volts maintaining a constant current of 6.6amps at the transformer primary. He ensured that isolation transformers were provided at each light on an airfield lighting series circuit to maintain circuit continuity when a particular light fails or the fixture is damaged.

O’Hare Airport Parking Lot Project, Chicago, Illinois
As an Electrical Engineer monitored and controlled all electrical testing and installation work and did cost estimates related to all change order work.

O’Hare Development Project - Chicago, Illinois
• Chief Electrical Inspector responsible for the International Pumping station at O’Hare. Prepared single line diagram, motor control center layout and lighting layout plan.
