Civil Engineering projects cover a wide range of infrastructure systems. They span from marine facilities which convey ships and cargo, to water supply systems which provide drinking water and fire protection to municipalities. W. L. Burle Engineers, P.A. strives to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to complex engineering problems. Each client's needs, such as budget constraints, schedule and construction requirements, are taken into consideration when designing each project.
The preliminary engineering phase of a project often involves a geotechnical engineering study of the project site. The study is needed not only to characterize the sub-surface environment and provide foundation recommendations, but also to identify geological problems which may arise during and/or following construction.
Environmental engineering projects cover a wide range of topics and issues. They vary from environmental permitting projects for air, wastewater and/or solid waste facilities to the design/construction of systems for the treatment of contaminated air, wastewater and/or groundwater. These services continue to broaden as the environmental regulations change and expand to address new topics, such as Total Maxiumum Daily Limit (TMDL) studies, Brownfields and Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) assessments.
