Sturgill Engineering provides engineering services directly and as a sub-consultant for municipalities in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Projects include power distribution and instrumentation & controls at various levels. Sturgill Engineering, PA designed power for a 15 MGD upgrade to the existing WTP.
Sturgill Engineering provides engineering services for industrial projects in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Sturgill Engineering, PA provided power distribution design for the modifications to John Deere Kernersville in Kernersville, NC. Work included power distribution through five (5) separate feeds, plantwide bus system, lighting for new warehouse and assembly building.
Sturgill Engineering performs arc flash studies meeting the latest NFPA 70e requirements using SKM software. This provides a short-circuit study, a protective device coordination study, and an arc-flash energy study. We can provide reports, labels, and training for facilities. Sturgill Engineering performed study for 25 sites where we provided arc flash coordination and study with recommendations and a report. Study included updated one-lines, report, labels and coordinated training. System involved 4160 Vac equipment down to 120/240 Vac panelboards.
