Stewart Acoustical Consultants was founded in 1979 to provide, experienced, independent, professional consulting services exclusively in acoustics and noise control for the architectural, environmental, and industrial workplace markets. It is not just a sideline for us. Our affiliation with F. C. Schafer Consulting allows us to include quality unbiased designs of audio and video systems.
Our combination of training, breadth of experience, and leadership is unmatched by any other firm in our primary service area. Senior Principal Consultant Dr. Noral D. Stewart, FASA, FASTM founded the firm and is now offering limited services in semi-retirement. He is an internationally recognized leader involved in the study and practice of acoustics since 1967, consulting full time since 1981 and a past President of the National Council of Acoustical Consultants (NCAC).Principal Consultant Joe Bridger has been with the firm since 1993 and now manages operations.
The value and utility of real property can be strongly influenced by the sound present or new sounds introduced from a variety of sources. Any development carries noise risks that can be major. Project viability could be influenced by existing sound reaching the site or the cost of controlling the sound produced by the project to make it compatible with neighboring properties.
