Founded in 1984 out of Federer-Sailors Associates, Inc., Sailors Engineering Associates, Inc. (SEA) provides geotechnical and environmental services throughout the southeast. Our firm is comprised of professionally registered engineers and geologists, staff and technician level scientists and engineers, and field personnel. In addition to our professional services, our in house auger drilling and geotechnical laboratory services allow us to offer our clients a single source which allows us to work together to control costs and schedules.
Services
Sailors Engineering Associates is a Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering firm that since 1976 has been providing a wide range of engineering, scientific and management services. SEA has worked on projects for commercial, industrial, financial, government agency and utility clients throughout the eastern United States.
Sailors Engineering Associates's geotechnical engineers and geologists have been involved in thousands of projects including retail, office and high rise buildings, residential structures, dams and industrial facilities as well as air fields, barracks, levees and marinas. To closely monitor the quality on each project and provide quick turn around, we maintain our own soils laboratory and construction materials testing and inspection department which is comprised of a staff of QA/QC inspectors who provide construction phase services including fill control, earth retaining wall and foundation inspections as well as "IBC 2006 Special Inspections".
Sailors Engineering Associates offers a spectrum of environmental investigation, engineering assessment and remediation services to clients ranging from independent property owners to international companies. Our in-house capabilities allow us to provide turn-key environmental services from site assessment through site closure.
