Services
The ProMation Engineering line of quarter-turn industrial actuators are our flagship products with regard to reliability, application flexibility, and optional configurations. They have been used primarily on butterfly and ball valves, but also on air handling louvers and gas shutoff valves. Patented Self-Locking Drive and Epicyclic Gearing - No Brake or Clutch, increasing mechanical reliability.
The ProMation Engineering line of quarter-turn spring return industrial actuators are robust fail-safe actuators for industry. They are appropriately used on dampers and air handling louvers. Spring driven rack and pinion mechanism provides failsafe operation during a loss of power situation. Proportional or On/Off Control - Responds to a wide range of industry-standard signals such as 4-20mA or 0-10, 1-5, 2-10VDC. Standard Internal Heater and Dual SPDT Auxiliary Switches - Normally not standard on other actuators.
Four different output forces provide for a more closely matched actuator/valve combination -- without over-driving the valve or exceeding its capabilities. Stroke Lengths of up to 50mm (PL550/PL1100) or up to 100 mm (PL2200/PL4400) allow actuator selection to match valve stem travel requirements. This provides exceptionally close resolution on proportional models.
