PSE Consulting Engineers, Inc. was formed in 1998 under the name Precision Structural Engineering by Dr. Nabil Taha, a Professor of Engineering at the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT). Since then, Dr. Taha has retired from OIT to commit all his time and experience to PSE and currently resides as our President and Principal Engineer.
At PSE we believe quality starts with hiring the right team member. Technical competency is the base for our engineering design team and our team members have exceptional qualifications. As part of our quality control on design, we conduct extensive interviews with prospective candidates who wish to join our team.

We are building a pole barn and our county recently changed requirements for engineering. Bryce was professional and informative. The communication through email and phone was clear, concise and helpful. He worked around our budget and our timeline. We did go with another firm in the end but because of professionalism and efficient communication we would consider this firm in the future.

I had a very good experience with Precision Structural Engineering. Before I could decide to work with them, I had a few questions. Mr. Dakota Kerkove was very patient and informative. I eventually hired them. I requested to send my drawings and structural engineering calculations on an urgent basis. Mr. Kerkove not only sent my drawing within time but is always available on phone to answer my follow-up questions.

I had the opportunity to work with PSE on several home designs that involved the use of shipping containers. Since this is a new(er) construction method for the county that I am in, quite a bit of input was needed by both the designer and the county building officials. Throughout the process PSE provided a perfect balance of input while still accommodating for my design preferences to be included.
They always got back to us quickly and met their deadlines. We are now moving into the construction phase of our project and I am excited to see the results. I intend to work with PSE on future projects.

We worked with PSE on our home design and engineering. We worked with 3 individuals specifically, -Dakota, Carlee and Bud. All 3 of them were very professional, stayed true to the timeline and super friendly. Never once did I feel I couldn't call and ask questions or see how the project was progressing. The design turned out beautiful! I would suggest PSE to ANYONE who is in the market for any design and engineering work!

As a first time client, we started working with Micah Swartz at PSE on August 16 and our project was completed within just a few short weeks on September 8.
