In 1999, we created a team of experienced scientists, engineers, and manufacturing experts in the optical industry with a mission to provide our clients with the highest quality engineering and design in a very personalized, dedicated, and confidential manner. In order to live up to our mission in offering each client a seamless and positive experience, our group provides a full service menu of capabilities to deliver a complete system that meets even the most stringent tolerances.Our facilities serve as the staging ground for new products, custom one-off systems, and precision assembly and alignment.

Over the last 20 years we have provided optical design ranging from the simple to the complex. We model optical systems in ray tracing software to predict performance of a specific lens design or an entire optical system. We've designed optical systems for imaging, microscopy, spectroscopy, colorimetry, beam delivery, collection, LIDAR, and fiber coupling.

Opticology is a leading provider of design, development, and fabrication of miniaturized optical system for medical devices, chemical analysis, industrial, and fiber optic systems. We primarily fabricate systems with components below 3mm in size and have built devices with components smaller than 1mm.

Though our work focuses in optics, the mechanical assembly plays a crucial role in any optical system. Very specific practices must be understood which is why an optomechanical engineer is essential. All systems we design are modeled in 3D CAD software. Opticology, Inc. specializes in the design & fabrication of critical precision optical and opto-mechanical assemblies. Any precision optical system requires mounting. High precision is often required to keep the system aligned and perform within specifications.
