NCI performs all excavation, dewatering, shoring, mechanical and structural concrete with in-house forces. We also specialize in maintenance and emergency work including leaking pipelines, canal liners, etc.

Nicholas Silicz began his family-managed construction business in 1987 with a focus on commercial water and sewer installations in the Kern River Valley. As the trend of work expanded to Bakersfield and the surrounding areas, he incorporated as Nicholas Construction. The company filled the need for environmental clean-ups, removing underground fuel tanks throughout California.

The management team works together to provide accurate and competitive estimates and manage every detail of the project from beginning to end. We receive surety bonds and complete projects that run in excess of $20 million.

Nicholas Constrution has been around a long time. They work all over the state on various water pipelines, culverts and canals. They are family owned and ran. I have worked with them on a few projects over the years and always enjoyed working with the brothers.
