I contacted Merrimack Engineering as I needed someone to provide a 3rd party review of a plan submitted to our planning board by one of my neighbors. Steve was extremely professional, creating a comprehensive report in a relatively short time-frame. He also attended the planning board meeting and presented his findings. Once again his professional approach had a significant impact. I am very pleased with the work of Merrimack Engineering and would highly recommend them!

We recently had a survey done and they were very professional. An email quote was sent to us with complete details of what the process entailed, the price and the estimated time of receiving the survey and plan. The crew arrived and were very polite and personable. The project was completed in a timely manner and we received the plan in a pdf format along with prints mailed.

We had questions regarding the plan and we received a phone call in which our concerns were addressed, the knowledge of the survey process was impressive. I give this company a 5 star review and would use them again.

I called to have a residential land surveyed for boundary staking. I just wanted to know how soon he can start it and an estimate since time was of an essence for me. With a 'my way or the highway' tonality and attitude, he claimed he doesn't give quotes over the phone because he had bad experience in the past where a customer got angry after finding out the actual price after work was higher than original quote over the phone. Okay. Understandable but I assured him I won't get upset since I know it's just an estimate and wanted to know how early he can start.

His attitude turned even more intolerable and he cut me off mid sentence. I looked at the other review and thought pretty highly but not anymore after the phone conversation. Had he have approached with a better attitude, even though he only accepts email proposals, I wouldn't even have bothered typing this review. Other companies I've called were at least courteous, listen to what I had to say, gave a rough estimate, and friendly. Maybe he should hire an assistant if he's bad with people.

Met with the owner. Very personable. Easy to speak with. Swapping "war stories" from several decades of experiences. Seriously considering employment.

Had them do site plan and survey for apartment building. Personally deals with Boards and staffs of Planning Departments as its extremely complicated with zoning, survey, wetlands and got it expedited beyond our expectations.

I called to get a quote for a FEMA flood certificate in Boston, they asked I send an email with the address. Within 2 hours I received a quote, they explained they could do the work in 10 days or less. I authorized the work and within 2 days they called, set up appointment and 7 days after my initial contact, I received my flood certificate. Quicker than they projected!

I referred my neighbor to them for a lot stake out-they did the site 6 lots away so they were able to come within a week to make their lot. They explained it was not ordinary, but they had the file information so they could do it. I will not hesitate to refer them again, like they told me, they've been around for a while and are really experienced!

Called them for a survey of my residential property. Once the survey was completed I realized I might have enough land to create another lot. They quickly did an analysis and suggested I could create 2 additional or 3 total lots. They then handled the Form A subdivision plan preparing it and having the Planning Board sign it. They staked the lots and then prepared site plans for development of the lots.

The person I sold the lots to hired them to stake the houses and do house plot plans. My lawyer was impressed with the performance and quality of their work. They made me a lot of money with their spot on analysis and services. They get my highest recommendation for service, knowledge, reasonable fees and follow through. In fact I recommended them to my firm CEO when they needed an ALTA Survey-Merrimack, it turns out, specializes in those. Again, great service. Would use them again for certain.
