A successful project must translate from paper to reality so we pride ourselves in being engaged throughout the design phase and well into the construction phase. Our clients include owners, developers, architects, and contractors - and our goal with each is to bring the designers vision to reality while accommodating the owner's budget and delivering a safe, code compliant structure.

LPA was founded in 1999 and is located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Our diverse staff has experience in the design of structural systems including light frame construction, masonry, insulated concrete form, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, hollow core, structural steel and heavy timber. We provide our services to owners, developers, architects and contractors.
Due to the vast diversity of structural system choices available for modern commercial buildings, we call upon our years of experience to synthesize complex building challenges into readily buildable and economical structures. Our projects include hotels, condominiums, office buildings and retail centers.
Over the years our design professionals have developed a library of efficient structural systems that we use as the basis for cost sensitive multi-family building projects. We strive to value engineer the project from day one taking into consideration the geotechnical recommendation, material and labor costs and innovations in building technology.
Working alongside clients to adapt to their specific needs is the key to quality residential engineering services. Gathering builder feedback over the years has tailored our processes to deliver cost effective yet strong code compliant homes. From the foundation up we strive to assemble a builder-friendly set of construction documents for each project with an appropriate level of detailing. Our experience ranges from high volume national builders to simple room additions to complex luxury custom homes.

We spoke to Shane who told us he'd get in touch about doing a site visit. After a long delay, he rescheduled and then finally sent interns to take measurements. We waited another week before calling and inquiring. They would not be able to do any of the work because our house was "too old." We had disclosed the age of our house in the initial call. Even though they couldn't do the drawings we needed, it didn't prevent them from cashing our deposit.
