From Our Website

For over 50 years, Geisser Engineering Corporation has provided quality engineering services to clients throughout New England and beyond. Our office is conveniently located minutes from Providence and is only an hour's drive from Boston. At Geisser Engineering, we strive to exceed the expectations of our clients and work hard to build solid lasting business relationships. Geisser Engineering Corporation is made up of three different entities. The first is Geisser Engineering which handles all of the civil, structural and environmental engineering needs of our clients.

Geisser Engineering Corporation provides consulting services in structural design, site design and geotechnical design as well as testing construction materials such as soil, concrete and steel. Additionally, our office provides field technicians who inspect construction on all levels. We have been in business since 1953, and have been performing independent geotechnical explorations since the foundation of our subsidiary, Allstate Drilling, in 1955. Our design work has ventured into structures as diverse as dams, high-rises, warehouses, asphalt silos, large wind turbines, and residential homes.

Construction quality control requires soil and material testing to measure the amount and effect of changes in soil density and moisture due to contractor adjustments. Once the maximum density of the soil has been established by means of a laboratory compaction test (proctor test), our staff of technicians can provide in-place density testing of the soil. Through the use of a nuclear density gauge, our on-site technicians will be able to provide you with quick results regarding the ability of the soil to support specific structures.
