As regulations governing water use become more stringent, it is becoming more challenging to provide consumers with safe, high quality drinking water at a reasonable cost.

Hydraulic engineering involves the flow of fluids, specifically surface water and groundwater. Turnipseed Engineers performs modeling of both water and sewer flows; provides modeling and analysis for reservoir systems, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, storm water management and various other water resource modeling using WaterGEMS, H20Net, info sewer modeling for GIS, SWMM or similar software.

Turnipseed Engineers evaluates possible sources of funding infrastructure improvements. We prepare grant and low interest loan applications and assist in administration of the funds. Because of our extensive work with each of the following agencies, we know the programs offered and the application process involved in obtaining funding assistance.

System mapping identifies underground utilities including the location of various type valves, cut-off's and other connections that are not visible after construction of a water or sewer line has been completed. These system maps are beneficial to municipalities because they provide a point of reference when determining the availability of water or sewerage service in certain areas or locating points of isolation when emergencies occur.
