Few realize it, but without engineers, our modern society would not be possible. Buildings, bridges, roads, public transit infrastructure, and other day-to-day essential elements of contemporary life could not exist without today's complex commercial engineering. Engineering professionals make sure all constructed properties are built safely, do not collapse, do not catch fire, do not flood, and are designed to stand for many lifetimes. Without the engineering profession, properties of all sizes, large and small, could not effectively exist for a sustained period of time.
A retaining wall is a large construct used primarily to hold back water or earth from spilling forth into undesirable areas. Obviously, a structure like this requires the highest quality and strongest building materials available. For this reason, utilizing precast concrete retaining walls is a great option for construction projects of this type.
A foundation is the structural element of a building. It transfers loads from the building or individual columns down to the earth. Foundations must be designed to prevent excessive settling or rotation of the structure, and this can only be accomplished by providing it with the strongest and most durable material available.

Terrible experience. In January, Insurance adjuster said new roof was needed and explained how it would go. A week after that, got a call from Tower Hill Insurance saying they were sending out an ENGINEER. Florida Engineering Solutions came out on February 5 and I finally received a call from Tower Hill Insurance this morning (50 days later) that they just got the report and they were advised by Florida Engineering Solutions that the roof could be repaired and didn't need a new roof.

How can that be after the insurance adjuster said it did need to be replaced? Could this be attributed to the fact that I was told by Tower Hill Insurance that the Engineer was asked to correct the first report he sent them because of contradictions in the report! Hmmm?
