Consulting Engineer Services (CES) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering company with over 50 years of experience. We have successfully completed over 5,000 projects in New Jersey. We are blessed with a staff of approximately 45 highly-qualified individuals including 10 Professional Engineers, 4 Professional Land Surveyors, designers, field surveyors, environmental experts, construction managers and inspectors, and administrative personnel.
Consulting Engineer Services was founded in 1964 by James M. Colangelo, Jr., PE, PP, CME. The company began as a structural engineering firm, and within a few years it was expanded to provide general consulting engineering services. Jim served as President of the NJ State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and oversaw the licensing of hundreds of current Professional Engineers. He was also engineer to many of New Jersey's municipalities and counties, and led the firm through several State projects with NJDOT.
Norman K. Rodgers, III, brings to CES over 30 years of leadership in municipal and private engineering and land surveying. His extensive experience includes sanitary sewer and water utilities, roadway design, traffic engineering, streetscape designs, environmental reports and permitting, full land development design, and entitlements for public and private projects.
