Carmichael Engineering, Inc., was formed in 1997, by J. Stephen Carmichael, P.E. to provide geotechnical, environmental and construction monitoring and testing services. Our main office and laboratory is located in Montgomery, Alabama and we have branch offices and laboratories in Auburn and Midland City, Alabama. Carmichael Construction Testing provides construction monitoring and field testing services for a wide range of projects including, residential, commercial, retail, schools, hospitals, airports, and industrial projects. Our trained, certified technicians work under the direction of our professional engineers and our seasoned project managers.
Carmichael Engineering, Inc., has multiple drilling rigs and crews to support our Geotechnical Engineering Services and also provides contract geotechnical drilling and sampling services. Operating our own drilling equipment assures consistency and quality in our geotechnical explorations to provide our engineers the best information.
Carmichael Engineering, Inc., environmental professionals specialize in providing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for property transactions. Our assessments are completed in accordance with ASTM E-1527-05 and the requirements of the All Appropriate Inquiries Final Rule. We can tailor our assessments to meet specific individual client requirements. Additional services include in erosion control, BMP monitoring, and permit assistance.
