Kyle Kucharski recently won the ASCE Goodman Award for his contributions to the ASCE-MN Chapter. Named for the University of Minnesota's longtime professor Lawrence Goodman, the award recognizes Kyle's academic excellence and his service as an ambassador to the College of Science and Engineering's Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo-Engineering.

The project consisted of the historic restoration and adaptive reuse of two existing buildings to apartments with a new adjacent two story below grade post tensioned parking ramp structure. The project was a restoration and conversion of a seven story concrete frame building to an apartment building from its use as a parking garage following SHPO guidelines.
