This engineering company missed so many important items on a plumbing design I cannot believe they are licensed. They obviously designed a plumbing system without doing any preliminary research. As a result my customer had to eat several thousand dollars of additional work. They also seriously Over Designed several items which are a waste of money.
The water pressure used in their calculations is significantly higher than they stated causing copper sizing to be increased when not needed. They specified a discontinued "Seismic" wall mount water heater stand that is discontinued. In Austin? They specified connecting to an unusable sewer that cannot be connected to the city tap. They specified a 20 gallon water heater that costs $1,000 more than equals readily available. The list goes on and on! In my opinion they should not be allowed to work in Austin.
